Harvest Festival

What is it?

R iverview Baptist Church’s Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday, October 21st at 13201 S. Memorial Drive, Bixby Oklahoma 74008. The Festival will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

     This is a family friendly event. It is free to attend and open to the entire community. There will be several activities and contests that are also free to enter. Many of them will have prizes awarded to the winners. (There is a fee of $20 for the 5K run to help offset the cost).

     Below is a list of events and activities. Click on highlighted activities to register to participate in that event. If an event has no link to register than pre-registration is not required for that event. For those events simply sign up at the festival.

Events

Food Trucks –

Come hungry because we will have a variety of options for you if you’d like to purchase a late lunch or dinner!

Craft Fair –

Vendors from all over the state will be present to show their craft and offer their products for purchase. Interested craft vendors reserve your spot by clicking the link below.

Silent Auction (ends at 5:30 p.m.) –

Everything from signed memorabilia, toys, electronics, prize baskets etc.

Live Music Begins

5K Run

Will begin at 1:30 p.m.on the West side of Memorial Dr. right across from the church. All information and registration details can be found by following the link below. (Sign up below)

Pumpkin Carving Contest

The carving contest will begin at 1p.m. in the pumpkin patch, and all contestants must have their pumpkins completed and submitted to the judges by 3 p.m. carving tools and decoration will be provided. A trophy will be awarded to the winner.

Live Music Continues

Greased Pig Chase

That’s right, we are going to grease down a real live pig and see who has what it takes to catch him. Sign up to compete the day of the Festival, simply go to the Riverview kiosk / table and let them know you are a pig chaser. There are limited spots available so get there early to sign up early.

Face Painting

First come first served from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Hay Rides

Rides will begin at 2 p.m and break at 3 p.m. for the Pumpkin Chunkin contest. Rides will resume after Pumpkin Chunkin until 4 p.m.

Photos

Fall Photos of you and or your family will be available beginning at 2 p.m. The photo booth will be set up next to the Riverview kiosk / table.

Pumpkin Carving Judging

Pumpkin Chunkin

Get ready to launch some pumpkins. Chunkin begins at 3 p.m. in the field on the Southeast side of the church property. DO NOT bring your own catapult or launcher as the ones provided by the church will be the only ones used. No need to sign up in advance just be present at 3 p.m. to participate.

Bake Sale

Pies, Cakes, Cookies and goodies.

Pie Eating Contest

At 4:30 p.m. we are going to line up and see who can devour a full size pie the fastest. What’s in it for the winner? A huge trophy, bragging rights for the year as Pie Eating Champ, and a belly full of pie. Enter the pie eating contest at the Riverview kiosk / table, but do it early because we have a limited number of spots available. Oh, and if you chased the greased pig earlier, make sure you washed your hands before you start eating pie.

Riverview Baptist Church is a non-profit organization and has served Bixby, Broken Arrow and South Tulsa with family friendly events for more than 60 years.
