Riverview Student ministries are all about connection. Our heart is to connect with Jesus, and with each other. We don't claim to have it all figured our, we're not perfect, we're just on a journey together to learn how to live life, and to love God and others.

Knowing that there are so many battles in life, it is tough to do in on your own. That's why we are here, to be a help, a friend, a family of believers that help each other through this difficult journey called life. 

Sunday Morning Bible Study - 10:45 am - 12:00 pm

 - There are all kinds of ideas out there in this world. All kinds of thoughts about religion. So what do you believe. There are a lot of Christians that don’t know what they believe about Christianity. That’s what this time is all about. The word “Doctrine” brings out a lot of bad connotations, but a simple definition is a set of beliefs about something, which doesn’t have the same negative sound as Doctrine. What we are about on Sunday morning is learning about Theology, another big word right. But, all it means is the study of God. I think everyone wants to know more about God. Well here is your chance, every Sunday morning we study God’s word to find out what He says about Him. Come join us, we’d love to have you be a part of what’s happening at Riverview!

Wednesday night service - 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in the student center

 - Everyone likes to be around friends. People like to be connected to something that they can belong to. Family doesn’t just mean the people living in your home, it can also mean the people you share your life with. Here, at Riverview we think that Family should be Christian brothers and sisters that come together to learn more about God. Our Wednesday service is about connecting to each other and more importantly, Jesus, He is the author and finisher of our faith. This is a time that we come together to sing songs that describe who God is and what He has done for us and it is a time that we take a look at the Bible and see what God has to say to us. So if you want to connect with other teens that are wanting to know more about God, or you like to sing praises to God, or just want to learn what the Bible says about Him and issues in life then come and hang out with us, you’re always welcome.

Youth Choir

 - One of the things that you will see all through scripture is to sing praises to God. The goal to Youth Choir at Riverview is to teach teenagers the importance of this. Youth Choir has its benefits, every summer there is an incredible trip that is one of the highlights of most Riverview students. And the goal is not only for teens to worship God, but for others to know there is a Creator God that deserves everyones worship.

Small Group Discipleship

 - The end goal of Christianity is not just about getting to go to heaven, it’s about knowing Jesus. To be a Christian means to be a disciple, and that is what we want as a student ministry, for you to be a disciple to Christ. A Christians life is supposed to be different. We are supposed to act like Jesus, love like Jesus. So how does that happen? By being His disciple and doing what He says to do. Our small groups are about fellowship, having fun with one another, and learning to live like Jesus.
