Mission TeamKID—Grades 1-6

6:30-7:30 pm: Mission emphasis is an important part of TeamKID (Kids In Discipleship), a high-energy, game-based hour of discipleship. The creative curriculum helps kids apply Bible truths to their daily lives. Boys and girls have separate classes, each in 3 grade levels. Traditional service- and scout-type projects (e. g., gifts for nursing homes, field trips, pinewood racer derby and sailboat regatta) offer a variety of activities kids love. Offered fall through spring. Other programs are offered in the summer.

Safety & Security

We care about kids at Riverview! Safety and security are high priorities in our Gradeschool Ministries. We use the following guidelines :
• All workers, volunteer or paid, regular or rotating, must be members of RBC.
• At least 2 workers must be present in each class, one of whom must be at least 18 years old.
• All workers must submit to a criminal background check.
• No worker shall inflict physical discipline on a child. If a child cannot be disciplined by firm but loving, non-physical correction, the worker will give one warning; next, take a time out outside the classroom with the director on duty; finally, the director will take the child to a parent.
